Sixty5 on Main in Nyack hosted its Grand Opening event this evening. It’s a chic new restaurant nestled on the East end of the vibrant Main Street scene in Nyack. The inside of this venue draws you in with its moody, eclectic theme— a mix of classic design with subtle nods to the exotic and hints of pop culture detail.

The other guests and I had the pleasure of sampling tapas-style treats— courtesy of the kitchen led by Moshe Grundman (formerly of Oceana in Manhattan). The food sampled was inventive and fresh. The small plates featured included a light and refreshing tomato-watermelon gazpacho, a tantalizing one-bite octopus carpaccio, savory short rib fritters, and more.
